|About Southern Pioneers
This site is very much a work in progress! I have made every effort to verify and document all information and sources, but alas, mistakes do happen, so please contact me if you have questions, corrections, or additions! I will give credit for information where it is due! I would never call someone else's research my own. I'm always happy to meet relatives, share information, and talk family!
A special thank-you to Mr. R. Slider, Mrs. H. Morton, Mrs. K. Clarke, Mr. U. Stroux & Mrs. J. Atkins for their help in breaking down my Bruckner family brick wall, and a very special thank-you to my Gr. Aunt Cat for her help in my research of the Garvin family, during the last few months before her death. A thank-you to Mr. J.C. Whittle for all his hard work researching the Whittle families. I could not have come as far as I have today, without their help. To those of you I've found, or have found me ... I'm proud to call you kindred. This website is dedicated to you.
Be sure to check out the Relationship Tool, it will show the relationship between any two people you choose! Really Cool! Print out family charts while you're here, as well. I have made this website for YOU! I hope you enjoy! I REALLY WISH YOU WOULD SIGN MY GUESTBOOK WHILE YOU'RE HERE! I WELCOME YOUR THOUGHTS AND COMMENTS. Thanks!

There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
